In the transport and service sector, it is very important for transport vehicles and service vans to have a high vehicle load capacity, in order to be able to utilise the limited storage space efficiently. The lower the weight, the lower the fuel consumption and environmental pollution for the same load capacity. We support the development of lightweight, modern Transporters, Sprinters, service vehicles and tool trolleys with sheets of our lightweight materialFoamlite®.
Foamlite® - lightweight material:
Foamlite® is a closed-pore foamed plastic that combines low weight with high mechanical stability. Foamlite® sheets:
Structures and components made of Foamlite®
Leading manufacturers of automotive interiors use Foamlite® sheets for the construction of very lightweight and robust components, structures and vehicle interior furnishing, such as:

Foamlite® sheets are available for cladding transport vehicles in many different formats, thicknesses, colours:
The loading and unloading of transported goods and tools in transport vehicles and service vans over a long period can cause damage through impacts and friction, and with that premature wear and tear, leading to a shortened service life for lorry trailers. With their high mechanical stability and scratch and shock resistance, cladding and flooring made of Foamlite® have a very long service life and a long-lasting, high-quality appearance. Tests in our in-house materials laboratory show that in comparison with tested conventional plywood (textured coated board), Foamlite® sheets have significantly higher abrasion resistance.
Foamlite® has a "built-in" hinge. All that is required is a 90 degree milled V-groove. This means it is very easy to make doors with V-grooves, for example. This saves time in the manufacturing process and eliminates additional material costs for hinges, screws and rivets.
We specially developed Foamlite®, a closed-pore foamed material, for applications in which construction materials need to be very low in weight while, at the same time, providing high mechanical stability. This opens up a wide range of possibilities in lightweight construction. Further information about Foamlite® lightweight sheets
